Aigen Update: 02/05/2020

Week 4! Let’s get to it. This week we are starting to dig deeper into this production. This is the week that we officially start our pre-production process. For the pre-production process we would normally gather our shot sheets, script breakdown, talent sheets, discover location shoots, and put together a detailed production schedule. However, because our project is a different case, most of our pre-production sheets are already done and locked down, or they have already been shot. We will, however, have to put together a production schedule for our part of the production and the things that we are responsible for, a finalized shooting date schedule, and an image system, or a “storyboard.” The image board will allow us to convey the ideas of how the documentary will look. It will give us the opportunity to show certain shot compositions of the footage that we have already procured, as well as the idea that we are going for for the remaining shoots that we have. Olivia and I are meeting with John this Wednesday to finalize travel and shoot dates, as well as discuss more in depth about how this 22-minute preview of Aigen: One Man’s War is going to look, and what he wants going into it. There has been a slight change to our travel schedule already. We were scheduled to go to Columbus, GA over February 21-22, but we are instead taking a day trip down to Mt. Dora on those dates to shoot footage of the truck that we were supposed to go down earlier in January for. While we are there, we will also be getting footage of a re-enactment that will be taking place at this event.
